Recipe time! We've been making soup recently and it's DELICIOUS. Goes great with an egg, some wontons, and broccoli. It's kinda sweet, salty, and spicy all at once. So, here's the recipe!
-two cubes of beef bouillon
-2-3 tbsp of chicken bouillon
-a TON of paprika (normal or smoked, not much of a difference)
-Red pepper flakes
-Lots of garlic powder
-A little onion powder
-About 1/3 a cup of sesame oil
-About 1/3 a cup of teriyaki sauce
-A splash of soy sauce
-1/3-1/2 a cup of chicken stock
-2-3 cups of water
-Cook on medium heat while stirring, add whatever you want in the soup (like how I said we put broccoli and wontons in it)
that's pretty much it i think. Okay bye bye!

Tighnari: Final day of testing
Apr. 30th, 2024 12:06 pmHad our final day for the year of state testing. Bullshit my way through like 20 out of those 58 questions, but I think I did relatively decent.
Big surprise, I'm pregnant! That's scary but great!! Me and Cyno's first kid wasn't from me, she's what we call a "petri dish baby". (Dottore basically takes our 'reproductive DNA' as one may call it, along with.. I have no idea, and boom! Baby!)
Biggest downside is, I have to take time off work. I run a small classroom and teach the littles in the system, and I love my job, and I love those kids, and I love teaching them, but I am obviously not giving birth and going straight back to work. I'm trying to find someone to fill my position while I'm out.
I was thinking Capitano; he's great with kids, cautious, helpful, focused, gentle (with littles more than others- *cough cough* Dottore) and kind of just hits most of the checkboxes i have. But there's a good handful of kids, and I think he'd get overwhelmed. I was thinking Cherie and/or Link might be willing to help out.
Cherie is always cooped up because she has nothing to do, and she's great with kids! She also just generally enjoys being helpful.
Link would be great because he's also very helpful, great with kids, and isn't afraid of getting messy. The kids go outside most days, and they're typically very hands-on learners, so I think he'd be good at it.
This is reminding me, I need to schedule curriculum meetings for the next few months. We do one at 6 PM every other Saturday; its partially to discuss what they'll be learning, but also to review how the kids are doing in general.

We have been so.. Tired. Bleugh. We desperately need a break, but we can't stay the night at our partner system's house anymore (for now). We don't know what to do.

Our partner systems mother found out we're together (or, to her, that her kid is dating their friend. totally not the entire communities in their heads.) And is very.. Suspicious, it seems. This means we can no longer spend the night with them. She thinks we're canoodling, probably.
We just feel like shit about it. We live in an incredibly busy, loud, overwhelming, and abusive household. Our only escape is going to our partner system's house, especially overnight. We don't really hang out with anyone else. We'd like to, we just don't. I want to be with my spouse. My headmates want to be with their spouses, and partners, and even parents (for a select few, at least.)
I absolutely cannot wait until the bodies are legal adults. We'll get a place together, and it'll all be okay. We'll be together and happy. It's going to be amazing. (Knocking on wood at the time of writing this)

Havoc was wreaked in science. Not even two minutes after the class began, our teacher was yelling (louder than he had ever yelled at the class before) and slammed the door. I started crying. I had a mini-breakdown. It just reminded me of Max's father and, in truth, my own. It made me feel.. Small. Which is a feeling I absolutely despise.
I'm mostly fine now, just, eugh. I want to talk to my wife, but I won't have my phone for another 10 or so minutes. I cant wait to get home. I'll probably make myself some food, and lay in bed all afternoon. I could certainly use the rest.

-the actual instant ramen flavor packet (personally we like to do this with chicken ramen or Shin ramen)
-Smoked paprika (we add LOTS. it's delicious.)
-Garlic powder
-a dash of soy sauce
-a dash of teriyaki sauce (just soy sauce works too; we just prefer teriyaki sauce, but use both)
-(optional) standard cabbage kimchi
-If you want it spicier, a little bit of cayenne is good too!
We like to add some wontons too, we get these really good pork ones, they take so good with all the broth!!

We've been getting really bad headaches every day, usually a couple times a day, which sucks but we're getting through it. When we can, we pop an acetamenophen and hope for the best.

Our grandfather's girlfriend got us this book from an art exhibit she went to see recently. It's very pretty, we haven't gotten a chance to read it yet but we will soon! She also sent us a $25.00 gift card to buy henna, because we shared with her that we've really been into henna for a while now. It'll be here on Sunday, we're very excited!!

Anyway, general updates for me personally; nothing out of the ordinary, really. Though I haven't talked to my wife in a couple of weeks. . . She's been very ill, just a flare-up, but it hit her hard. She's much better now but still being cautious about fronting, which is fair, I just miss her quite a lot. The kids miss her, too. But hopefully, we'll see her soon! Good news! We placed 3rd at our german contest; got to state!!
Then at state, we placed 4th, so we get a letter jacket! Woohoo!
