Gender Confusion
Aug. 31st, 2023 08:54 amSo, I got very confused about my gender for a hot minute. I decided I think I'm a girl. That feels right. No name change, I actually really like my name, but she/her pronouns now, and i don't feel comfortable being referred to in masculine ways. I told my husband about this last night and honestly, I was terrified. I thought he wouldnt love me this way; I mean, he married a man, we've known each other pretty much all of our lives and I've always been a man, he got with me thinking he was getting with a man. But, fortunately, he was completely supportive and understanding. He asked about what I prefer to be called and everything, he called me a lot of sweet feminine things, it was really nice. I appreciate him so, so much. He's the sweetest.
It's kind of odd. By that I just mean, it's a big adjustment. I realized this so suddenly, and I'm glad I did. I mean, it was confusing and scary and made me worry a lot, but it's still a good thing that I realized it.
